Facility Management Manager – Civil

Job Overview

The Facility Management Manager – Civil is responsible for overseeing civil maintenance and facility management operations in assigned locations. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality services complying with technical standards, safety protocols, and contractual benchmarks.

Main Duties

• Lead civil maintenance activities and facility management tasks.
• Direct and supervise a team comprising engineers, supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors.
• Oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Ensure adherence to Qatar's standards, regulations, and compliance requirements related to health, safety, environmental, and quality management.
• Track and evaluate service delivery performance against agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify technical challenges and execute effective corrective measures.
• Maintain coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal departments to facilitate smooth operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Have at least 7 years of experience pertinent to facility management or civil maintenance.
• Hold a valid UPDA or MMUP Grade A or B certification, which is mandatory.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in civil construction and building maintenance.
• Be well-versed in Qatar's legislation covering Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and related management practices.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is compulsory.
• Experience managing facility contracts for schools or kindergartens within the GCC region is highly desirable.
• Certifications such as CFM, FMP, or SFP are considered an advantage.
• PMP certification adds further merit to the candidate’s profile.
