Facility Management Manager – Architecture

Job Summary

The Facility Management Manager specialized in Architecture will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of architectural, civil, and building fabric maintenance, ensuring that facilities meet operational, safety, quality, and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance activities related to architectural, civil, and building fabric components.
• Lead facility management teams while coordinating with contractors and specialized service providers.
• Oversee both planned and reactive maintenance operations.
• Perform inspections to identify defects, assess risks, and determine necessary improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar-specific codes, technical specifications, health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Track service level agreement (SLA) and key performance indicator (KPI) results, taking corrective measures as needed.
• Facilitate efficient coordination with clients and other project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Have at least 7 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Hold UPDA or MMUP Grade A or B certification (mandatory).
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of architectural and civil works.
• Be knowledgeable about Qatar's building codes and regulatory standards.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is required.
• Experience in facility management for schools or kindergartens within the GCC region is strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or Sustainable Facility Professional (SFP) are desirable.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an advantage.
