About the Role
Join Aptiv as a Facility Lead where you will have a significant opportunity to oversee the facilities department, working with cutting-edge technologies and fostering innovative solutions for major Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM). Your efforts will contribute to safer, greener, and more connected mobility solutions appearing on roads worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the facilities department operations as the primary stakeholder.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to fulfill all project commitments.
- Oversee project financial management, ensuring budgets are met or surpassed.
- Maintain cost efficiency related to utilities and facilities operations.
- Ensure uninterrupted production by avoiding facility-related downtimes.
- Meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with the facility department.
- Implement predictive maintenance strategies and rigorously track preventive maintenance, fault reports, and corrective work orders.
- Coordinate with external agencies for new initiatives, major repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Manage site administrative functions including security, transportation, housekeeping, and canteen services, ensuring cost targets are achieved.
- Ensure all safety and statutory obligations are adhered to at all times.
- Supervise Addition & Alteration (A&A), Repair & Redecoration (R&R), and various project activities.
- Drive process improvements across projects to boost productivity and financial performance.
- Demonstrate innovation and leadership in problem-solving initiatives.
- Forecast and control project expenditures and budgets.
- Comply fully with Health & Safety regulations as set by Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) department and governmental laws.
- Lead energy-saving programs and manage environmental systems plant-wide.
- Provide priority support to manufacturing facilities.
- Represent the facility in dealings with internal and external customers, ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and security standards.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and possession of a C License.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in industrial facility management including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proficient in safe work procedures.
- Strong leadership with effective people management skills.
- Excellent written communication and presentation abilities are a plus.
- Creative, analytical, and highly motivated personality.
- Familiarity with digital systems and facility management tools.
