About the Role
Join Komatsu Australia as a Facilities Technician and become an essential part of ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment across our Western Region sites and branches. Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and service tasks across various sites and branches within the Western Region.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, environmental laws, and company policies relevant to facilities management.
- Manage facilities-related administrative duties, including coordinating contractors and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Support site improvement initiatives and maintenance projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in implementing standardized facilities management processes and standards throughout the region.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, branch teams, and external service providers.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant trade certification or qualification is essential.
- Experience as a handyman or in a similar maintenance role is required.
- Possession of current licenses or ability to obtain licenses for equipment such as forklifts and overhead gantry cranes.
- Holding a current First Aid Certificate is desirable, or willingness to acquire one.
- Good working knowledge of workplace safety and health and safety compliance standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Work Conditions and Location
This position is based in Welshpool, Western Australia, operating on a 5-day week (5:2) with 38 hours per week plus potential overtime.
