Role Overview

WWT is seeking a Facilities Infrastructure Technical Solutions Architect specializing in critical data center infrastructure, focusing on gray and white spaces. This vital role will be part of the Facilities Infrastructure team within the GS&A organization, delivering expert guidance on pre-sales engagements and collaborating closely with sales, services, partner management, global engineering, and ATC engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage hands-on technical expertise with data center critical facilities infrastructure.
• Possess and maintain industry-recognized technical certifications.
• Deliver presentations to customers, partners, and internal teams effectively.
• Define and scope consulting and delivery service offerings in partnership with WWT and external professional services.
• Conduct training and enablement sessions for sales and engineering teams to ensure accurate opportunity identification, scoping, selling, and delivery of solutions.
• Organize and participate in regular partner planning meetings involving FIT partners.
• Create digital content such as blogs, vlogs, podcasts, and presentations with marketing teams to promote Facilities Infrastructure and strategic partners.
• Support cross-practice innovation with other global engineering teams at WWT.
• Host and provide Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) and workshops focused on FIT-related messaging for customers.
• Assist in developing technical labs and demonstrations at the Advanced Technology Center aligned with go-to-market strategies and customer needs.
• Achieve leading OEM certifications continuously.

Required Experience and Skills

• Minimum of five years designing and architecting data center facilities infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge covering the entire power chain from grid connection through to chip level.
• Understanding of thermal dynamics related to cooling environments within data centers.
• Ability to architect data center layouts effectively.
• Expertise in designing cabling and pathways architectures.
• Familiarity with sensor technologies including safety, detection, and reporting systems.
• Proficiency with OEM tools for configuring solutions, generating bills of materials, and producing high-level designs.
• General understanding of servers, storage arrays, and networking infrastructure components.
