Role Overview

The Security Sales Advisor will be part of the Global Cyber Security Sales & Advisory team, focusing on driving security sales within the assigned territory. The role aims to support WWT’s global security sales and profitability objectives by positioning security solutions and providing specialist sales assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote security solutions effectively within the customer base.
  • Develop and implement account-level security strategies alongside core client teams, including creating thought leadership and landscape mapping documents.
  • Leverage professional networks to establish and nurture relationships with C-level executives, executive directors, managing directors, and key decision-makers at target clients.
  • Maintain strong client and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) relationships with strategic partners.
  • Keep up-to-date with evolving cybersecurity trends such as Security Strategy, Cyber Resilience, Network Segmentation, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, Endpoint Security Architecture, SASE/SSE, Observability, Next-Generation Firewalls, Identity and Access Management, and Compliance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Sciences, or related field is preferred; however, a combination of relevant education, training, and experience may substitute for a degree.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in a relevant area is preferred.

Skills and Attributes

  • Proactive, aggressive self-starter with a proven ability to build executive-level relationships and close sales deals.
  • Strong account planning skills working collaboratively with extended teams.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels within customer companies.
  • Competence in managing and strengthening partner relationships.
