Role Details

Successful candidates will join a seasoned site team, executing formwork and related construction tasks across diverse projects. Duties range from site preparation and layout to erecting, fitting, and dismantling formwork for structural elements such as slabs, footings, and walls. Collaboration with teams during reinforcement setup and concrete pours ensures the safe, efficient, and top-quality completion of works.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, build, install, and dismantle formwork structures.
• Construct formwork components for various structures including slabs, footings, and walls.
• Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications accurately.
• Precisely measure, cut, and assemble formwork materials.
• Assist in reinforcement installation and concrete pour preparation.
• Support site teams during concrete pouring operations.
• Conduct general site preparation and related construction activities.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and competently.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and workspaces.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors, tradespeople, and site personnel.
• Adhere to all work health and safety protocols and site procedures.
• Ensure work meets required quality and project standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience as a Formworker or in a similar construction capacity.
• Demonstrated ability in erecting, installing, and stripping formwork.
• Possession of a valid Construction White Card.
• Current driver's license held.
• Competence in reading and understanding construction documentation.
• Proficiency with relevant hand and power tools.
• Solid knowledge of construction site safety standards.
• Detail-oriented with pride in workmanship.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic.
• Positive mindset with eagerness to learn and expand skills.
