Role Overview

We are currently looking for a dependable and diligent Construction Labourer to join our Sydney-based projects on a full-time basis. The role primarily involves supporting on-site teams with general construction tasks, assisting tradespeople, handling materials, ensuring site tidiness, and performing activities as directed by the Site Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to tradespeople and site staff with various construction-related duties.
• Handle loading, unloading, and transportation of materials and equipment on site.
• Support basic site preparation and maintain cleanliness throughout the project area.
• Keep work areas organised, safe, and clean to meet site requirements.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly as needed.
• Assist with receipt and distribution of materials and deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety (WHS) standards and site-specific safety procedures.
• Identify and report any hazards or issues encountered on site.
• Collaborate effectively with the site team to facilitate smooth project progress.

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior experience working in construction or general labouring roles.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Holds a valid White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Solid understanding of workplace safety protocols and the ability to follow WHS guidelines.
• Dependable, punctual, and capable of following instructions accurately.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work cooperatively within a team environment.
• Must have full legal working rights in Australia.
• Residential construction experience is preferred but not essential.
• Possession of a driver's licence and personal transportation is beneficial.
