Main Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to all departmental statutory compliance requirements.
- Establish and maintain departmental systems to uphold organizational standards for delivering excellent guest and associate satisfaction.
- Implement training and systems to meet and exceed guest satisfaction benchmarks, regularly analyzing monthly guest satisfaction scores to address improvement areas.
- Coordinate with the Purchase Manager for timely ordering of supplies to optimize stock levels and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Develop and execute annual budgets aimed at sustaining organizational profitability.
- Manage and monitor inventories of equipment, linens, and uniforms to maintain par stock levels while controlling costs effectively.
- Optimize resource management to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation through proper training and policy enforcement.
- Create and implement departmental policies and procedures alongside comprehensive associate training.
- Maintain robust departmental communication standards to facilitate smooth operations.
- Participate in recruitment aligned with HR plans, conduct and oversee training programs to boost employee satisfaction and efficiency.
- Promote a workplace environment that fosters employee loyalty, pride, and high commitment levels.
- Handle resolution of associate grievances and complaints promptly.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in process management with a strong orientation towards efficient operations.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with excellent organizational skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with creativity and aptitude for thinking beyond conventional boundaries.
- Ability to drive organizational change and identify operational efficiencies and synergies across functions.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership over projects and the willingness to broaden responsibilities.
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in upscale hotel operations, including at least 2 to 3 years in a similar managerial role.
- Comprehensive operational and technical knowledge pertinent to hospitality housekeeping management.
