ETL Testing Specialist - Telecom Domain

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Tester specializing in Telecom projects to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong expertise in functional, API, ETL, database validation, and comprehensive end-to-end testing. This role demands practical experience in testing complex applications, verifying data transformations meticulously, and ensuring high-quality software within telecom platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute functional, integration, end-to-end (E2E), user acceptance (UAT), and business acceptance testing (BAT) for telecom applications.
• Carry out API testing leveraging tools like Postman to validate system integrations.
• Perform manual and automated ETL testing using Informatica and related tools.
• Verify the accuracy and integrity of data extraction, transformation, and loading workflows.
• Create and implement test scenarios that reflect complex telecom business processes.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Compose and validate complex SQL queries for backend validations and data reconciliation.
• Work extensively with Oracle databases and validate field-level mappings.
• Apply business logic to ensure correctness in data movement and staging areas.
• Assist business users and stakeholders throughout UAT and BAT testing phases.
• Investigate and adopt AI-driven methodologies in ETL testing to enhance efficiency and quality.

Skill Set and Experience

• Essential experience in Telecom domain projects.
• Proven expertise in functional, API (Postman), integration, end-to-end, UAT, and BAT testing.
• Strong background in defect management processes.
• Hands-on experience with ETL testing and tools such as Informatica.
• Familiarity with AI applications in ETL testing and automation.
• Advanced SQL abilities for writing and verifying complex queries.
• Experience with Oracle database operations and data validation.
• Thorough understanding of database architectures, data mappings, and staging environments.
• Excellent analytical thinking, troubleshooting skills, and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience collaborating in client-facing roles.
• Understanding of Agile and Scrum project delivery frameworks.

Work Conditions

• Position based at client premises in Riyadh with working days Sunday through Thursday.
• Effective teamwork and communication with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders are essential.
