Overview

Join a rapidly expanding civil/site development contractor specializing in earthwork, underground utilities, grading, paving, and large-scale site development projects. This role focuses on supporting preconstruction and quantity takeoff processes using AGTEK software across heavy civil construction work.

Role Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity takeoffs independently using AGTEK Gradeworks or AGTEK Earthwork tools.
• Assist estimating efforts for projects involving earthwork, grading, underground utilities, paving, and site development scopes.
• Analyze plans, specifications, bid documentation, and site details with precision.
• Contribute to cost assessments involving labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Collaborate effectively with estimators, project managers, and company leadership during the bidding stages.
• Support multiple active projects through preconstruction and estimating initiatives.
• Help organize project handoffs and maintain detailed estimating documentation.

Required Qualifications

• At least one year of experience performing estimating or quantity takeoffs related to heavy civil or site development construction.
• Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with AGTEK Gradeworks or AGTEK Earthwork software, capable of operating independently without software training.
• Prior work within earthwork, underground utilities, grading, paving, excavation, or similar civil construction scopes is preferred.
• Experience with HeavyBid software is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the capability to interpret civil construction drawings and specifications accurately.
• Able to handle multiple deadlines in a busy estimating environment.
