Position Overview

We are looking to hire a skilled Estimator with experience in civil construction, focusing on residential site development projects. This role involves producing precise cost estimates, aiding preconstruction planning, and cooperating with management to deliver competitive and detailed bids.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for residential site development projects.
  • Support pre-construction planning and bid preparation efforts.
  • Collaborate effectively with leadership to develop competitive and high-quality bids.
  • Engage with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for pricing and negotiations.
  • Manage multiple bidding processes and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • At least 5 years of estimating experience in the civil construction sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in residential site development projects.
  • Experience estimating projects valued between $5 million and $50 million.
  • Knowledge of sitework components including erosion control, clearing and grading, utility installation, and paving.
  • Proficiency with AGTEK software is highly preferred.
  • Ability to accurately read and analyze construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team setting.
