Estimation Administrator

Job Overview

The primary responsibility is to inspect vehicles with damage and accurately estimate the repair costs including labor and parts needed to restore the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the extent of damage to the vehicle's structure, body, mechanical components, and interior elements.
• Calculate labor and parts expenses required for repair or replacements of damaged components.
• Discuss repair cost estimates with the body shop manager for approval and accuracy.
• Decide whether damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, and doors should be repaired or replaced based on feasibility.
• Assess whether repairing the vehicle is practical compared to compensating for its market value prior to the incident.
• Determine the salvage value in cases of total vehicle loss.
• Complete insurance documentation detailing repair cost estimates and recommendations for claims processing.
• Estimate expenses involved in repainting, modifications for special purposes, or customizing undamaged vehicles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Engines and Vehicle, or a closely related discipline.
• Between zero to two years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer usage.
• Good command of the English language.
