Role Overview

We are seeking Entry Level Labourers to join our team, performing a range of duties including manual labour, janitorial tasks, equipment operation, and steam bay functions. Candidates do not need prior equipment operating experience as comprehensive internal training will be provided. This position offers significant opportunities for career advancement within the mining industry.

Location and Schedule

This is a site-based role located in the Elk Valley area, requiring reliable commuting to or relocation near Sparwood, British Columbia. The work schedule follows a 4x4 rotation comprising both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with all health and safety programs and policies.
• Carry out diverse tasks including physical labour, cleaning, equipment operation, and steam bay duties.
• Work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
• Safely perform heavy lifting tasks.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
• Prior experience in heavy equipment operation or industrial environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation

The annual salary ranges from $64,000 to $82,000 CAD. This includes the base hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and varies depending on location. The calculation is based on a typical number of working hours per year.
