Retail Store Supervisor

Overview

This role involves managing the operations of a retail store at Petro-Canada located in Vernon, British Columbia. The position demands onsite presence, as remote work is not available.

Experience

No prior experience is necessary since training will be provided for the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the team, including apprentices, stage hands, and design staff.
• Allocate duties to sales personnel effectively.
• Participate in hiring and training processes or coordinate training arrangements.
• Design and implement employee work schedules.
• Engage in direct sales of merchandise to customers.
• Generate reports covering sales performance, merchandising, and personnel updates.
• Address and resolve various challenges such as customer inquiries, complaints, and stock shortages.
• Manage and organize inventory control activities.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily tasks of team members to ensure smooth store operations.
