About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Network & Network Security Pre-Sales Solution Architect who specializes in designing, positioning, and securing complex enterprise networking and cybersecurity solutions. This customer-facing role involves direct interaction with enterprise and government clients, working collaboratively with sales teams from initial technical discovery to solution development, proof of concepts, request for proposals, and final deal closure.
Key Responsibilities and Experience
- Possess at least 10 to 12 years of comprehensive expertise in Enterprise Networking and Network Security.
- Exhibit strong Pre-Sales and Solution Architecture capabilities.
- Hold an active CCIE certification (Routing & Switching, Security, Enterprise Infrastructure, or Data Center) which is mandatory.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge in Enterprise Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, SDN, Wireless Networks, and Data Centre Networking.
- Have proficiency with Cisco ACI, Catalyst Center, BGP/OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN EVPN technologies.
- Command understanding of Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), SASE, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), NAC, VPNs, segmentation, and network security mechanisms.
- Experience with multiple vendors including Cisco, and familiarity with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Aruba, Juniper, F5 Networks, or Zscaler technologies.
- Hands-on involvement in developing High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), Bills of Materials (BOM), Statements of Work (SOW), RFPs/RFIs/RFQs, sizing, and licensing processes.
- Track record of leading Proofs of Concepts (POCs), conducting technical workshops, and delivering competitive solution presentations.
- Demonstrated history of supporting large-scale, complex enterprise opportunities effectively.
- Experience within System Integrator (SI), Managed Service Provider (MSP), or Value-Added Reseller (VAR) environments is preferred.
- Exposure to enterprise or government customers in UAE or GCC regions is highly advantageous.
Additional Information
This position is not focused on implementation or network operations but instead on commercially oriented architecture and solution designing. Candidates need to be adept at translating challenging technical requirements into successful and compelling enterprise network and security proposals.
