Regional Director

About the Role

Business Central NZ is looking for a commercially savvy and highly respected Regional Director to lead and expand its influence across the Manawatū, Taranaki, and Whanganui regions from Palmerston North. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will serve as the public face of the organisation locally, cultivating strategic partnerships, driving membership growth, and amplifying regional engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with regional business leaders, councils, iwi groups, industry associations, and government entities.
• Enhance Business Central NZ's standing and influence in the local business community.
• Lead efforts to increase membership and participation within the region.
• Represent the organisation at senior levels, advocating for regional business interests.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable existing networks across business, governmental, or community sectors in regional New Zealand.
• Excellent skills in relationship-building and stakeholder engagement.
• Commercial awareness combined with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously and exert influence at senior leadership levels.
