Engineering Specialist (Test Maintenance)

About the Role

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician within our manufacturing group, your primary responsibility will be to ensure production and test equipment operate efficiently, reducing downtime and supporting high quality in production.

You will be tasked with performing repairs and maintenance on equipment, establishing preventive maintenance routines, and training staff on equipment operations and upkeep procedures. Specific tasks include carrying out head changes for Burnish, Glide, and Cert heads, troubleshooting testers at the board level, and maintaining automated systems such as pick-and-place robots. Scheduled preventive maintenance and monitoring machine yield/performance through real-time systems with corrective follow-ups are key duties.

About You

• Possess a Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or related engineering disciplines.
• Exhibit a self-driven and constructive attitude towards work.
• Work well within a team setting and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability and willingness to operate in a clean room environment.
• Accept working a night shift schedule of 7:30pm to 7:45am, 12-hour shifts.

Experience

• Previous exposure to the manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Experience troubleshooting equipment down to the circuit board level is beneficial.

Location and Facilities

The role is based in Woodlands, Singapore at one of the largest electronics manufacturing hubs in the area. The site is accessible via public transport and provides ample free parking.
