Role Overview
As an Engineering Manager, you will be instrumental in leading one or more squads within our Technology team, blending technical guidance with mentoring and coaching responsibilities. Your leadership will ensure the smooth execution of product and technology roadmaps while maintaining alignment with MYOB's development and security standards. Collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders, you will balance near-term delivery objectives with long-term strategic goals, contributing significantly to MYOB's overarching mission.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide exemplary technology leadership, nurturing and guiding team members through coaching and mentorship.
- Skillfully manage and balance technology development priorities alongside delivery and product outcomes.
- Foster strong collaboration amongst stakeholders to uphold and achieve industry-leading standards.
- Design, articulate, and implement comprehensive product and technology roadmaps.
- Ensure strict adherence to development processes and security protocols throughout project lifecycles.
