Role Overview

We are looking for a Domain Expert to become a vital member of our Practice product group. This team creates digital content catered to accounting firms managing compilation engagements for clients, including creating workpaper tools, financial reports, and facilitating tax return preparation and filing.

As the Domain Expert, you will be the link between accounting professionals, development teams, and product management. Your role involves translating accounting and tax requirements into our content, ensuring that the software accurately reflects industry practice. A deep comprehension of accounting workflows, their pain points, and improvement opportunities will guide your work. Additionally, you will collaborate with regulatory bodies like the ATO or IRD and industry leaders to integrate compliance standards into our offerings.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain online content for accounting practices focused on compilation engagements.
• Apply expert knowledge to design and integrate tax and accounting requirements within the product.
• Serve as a communication bridge between accountants, developers, business teams, and product managers.
• Engage directly with regulatory authorities to gather compliance data and implement necessary updates.
• Leverage AI-driven development tools to create compliant and user-friendly digital content.

Required Experience and Expertise

• 2 to over 5 years of experience as an accountant or bookkeeper.
• Strong insight into business practices and commercial environments.
• Experience creating financial or accounting solutions is essential.
• Problem-solving aptitude with the ability to devise technical solutions for complex business challenges.
• Good facilitation and workshop organization skills.
• Familiarity with software development processes or prior collaboration with development teams is a plus but not mandatory.
