Engineer-Lead

Job Overview

This Engineer-Lead role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the installation, maintenance, and preventive servicing of tools, electrical appliances, and equipment. The position requires ensuring controls and indicators are calibrated accurately, managing valves, and organizing parts and supply orders including purchase records and inventory management. Handling machinery such as forklifts and utilizing computer systems for work data entry are also part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on various tools and equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters to maintain accurate operation.
• Identify and handle all types of shut-off valves.
• Order, label, and stock parts and supplies as needed.
• Maintain records of purchase orders and inventory.
• Inspect tools, machines, and equipment regularly.
• Use computers to input and locate work-related information.
• Operate forklifts safely.
• Support management in employee recruitment, training, scheduling, assessment, guidance, discipline, motivation, and development, setting a strong example.
• Adhere to company safety policies, report maintenance or safety risks, conduct safety training and certifications, and store flammable materials securely.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uniform.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest service needs proactively.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and through precise documentation.
• Foster positive workplace relationships and appropriately address employee concerns.
• Ensure quality standards compliance and identify new methods to enhance efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings.
• Physically handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds, navigate stairs and ramps, stretch, bend, lift, and perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Technical or vocational school diploma or certificate.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.
• Between 4 and 6 years of related professional experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
