Job description
Job Overview
This is a fixed-term, part-time position for an Emergency Department Assistant at the NHS Ayrshire & Arran Emergency Department, scheduled for 34.5 hours per week until January 1, 2027. Candidates must have at least two years of experience as a Healthcare Support Worker in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities and Work Environment
Successful applicants will be trained in Emergency Department-specific procedures and will work collaboratively with nursing and medical personnel within the department. The role requires the ability to operate effectively under high pressure, demonstrate initiative, and actively support team objectives. Basic computer proficiency will be beneficial.
