Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and new installations.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and document results accurately.
• Install wiring, devices, and temporary power setups while strictly following safety guidelines.
• Adhere to OSHA, NEC codes, and UAE electrical safety regulations at all times.
• Conduct thorough safety inspections of all electrical devices and systems.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, technical manuals, and maintenance instructions precisely.
• Operate and manage lighting control systems and associated equipment within the facility.
• Assist in erecting, dismantling, and distributing temporary power for events or projects.
• Maintain inventory of electrical parts and supplies, ensuring work areas are clean and organized.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to promptly resolve electrical issues.
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned to support overall organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Certification as a journeyman electrician or equivalent credential.
• At least five years of confirmed experience in commercial electrical work.
• High school diploma or an equivalent educational qualification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Deep understanding of OSHA and NEC electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and literature.
• Proven skills in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and system installations.
• Certification for operating material handling equipment as necessary.
• Familiarity with UAE-specific electrical standards and codes.

Preferred:

• Additional specialized electrical certifications.
• Experience with lighting control systems and temporary power installations.
• Capability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
