Equipment Operator

Job Overview

The Equipment Operator is tasked with managing Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and aiding aircraft turnaround tasks to promote safe and smooth Ramp Operations at the airport.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate various Ground Service Equipment as certified and directed.
• Inspect cargo holds and adjacent areas for irregularities such as missing or damaged parts or unidentified items.
• Carry out routine GSE inspections to confirm equipment is functioning properly and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain safety and security during operations.
• Adhere strictly to UAE laws and regulations along with company and customer airline protocols concerning quality, safety, security, and handling of special products.
• Operate equipment safely in line with institutional procedures; promptly report safety hazards, service incidents, errors, and near misses via established reporting channels.
• Maintain compliance with all operational protocols, including the correct use of handheld devices.
• Support baggage and cargo loading and unloading processes.
• Utilize headsets to coordinate with flight crew and ground teams for aircraft pushback, towing aircraft and ground vehicles, and carrying out pushback procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess a valid UAE Driver’s License.
• Minimum of one year’s experience functioning as an Equipment Operator.
