Help at Home is currently seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities within their homes and community environments. As a leading provider of in-home support services, the company offers flexible schedules and competitive pay ranging from $13 to $15 per hour, with weekly payment cycles. Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation, housekeeping, personal care including grooming and hygiene, and transportation.
• Encourage and facilitate participation in community and social events like shopping and gatherings.
• Support individuals in achieving personal goals and celebrate their accomplishments.
• Promote autonomy, choice, and self-advocacy among clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding care provided, activities undertaken, and progress noted.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure consistent and quality services.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background check and complete required training.
• Hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation with insurance documentation (primary or secondary).
• Have the ability to work respectfully and safely within clients' homes and communities.
• Demonstrate compassion, reliability, and a genuine desire to impact lives positively.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and/or autism.
• Familiarity with Individual Activity Support Plans (ASP) and Plans of Service and Supports (PSS).
• Competence in employing foundational behavior-support methods including redirection, visual cues, and environmental adjustments.
