Job Responsibilities
- Perform one-on-one care in clients' homes.
- Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks, such as organizing, laundry, and basic cleaning duties.
- Support personal care activities including helping with dressing, medication management, and meal assistance.
- Accompany clients outside their homes to assist with errands like grocery shopping or appointments.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Prior experience as a Personal Care Assistant is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Must have access to reliable, insured transportation.
- Commitment to professional growth through organizational and state-mandated training.
- Capacity to move or lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to navigate client homes and offices, including staircases.
- Effective communication skills for clear information exchange.
- Adherence to state background screening procedures is compulsory.
