Role Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance with everyday living tasks including cooking, cleaning, grooming, hygiene, and transportation
• Encourage involvement in community and social activities such as shopping and events
• Support goal attainment and recognize progress
• Promote autonomy, choice, and self-advocacy
• Accurately record care details, activities, and client progress
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain consistent quality support

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be 18 years or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Clear background check and completion of required training
• Hold a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance
• Ability to work respectfully and safely in clients’ homes and community settings
• Exhibit compassion, dependability, and dedication to positively impacting lives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) or autism, including implementing Individual Activity Support Plans and Plans of Service and Supports
• Knowledge of foundational behavior-support methods like redirection, visual prompts, and environmental adjustments

Additional Information

Caregivers must comply with state background screening procedures. Compensation packages, benefits, and bonuses differ by location and state; details will be provided during interviews.
