A well-established financial services company in New Zealand seeks an experienced Digital Solution Architect to lead the evolution of their digital platforms. This role involves crafting architecture for customer-facing and internal digital experiences spanning mobile, web, APIs, cloud, and enterprise system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the solution architecture for critical digital platforms.
- Support teams in making strategic technology decisions from initial discovery through delivery.
- Shape architectures for mobile and web customer experiences.
- Design scalable APIs and integration strategies.
- Bridge modern applications to legacy and core enterprise systems.
- Translate business and customer requirements into actionable, secure, and scalable design solutions.
- Guide engineering teams through complex delivery and technical challenges.
- Uphold security, resilience, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Enhance architecture standards, patterns, and operational practices.
- Balance immediate delivery goals with long-term technology vision.

Candidate Profile
- At least five years of experience in solution architecture or a similar senior technical role.
- Expertise in designing customer-centric digital platforms.
- Strong skills in API design, management, and integration.
- Experience integrating digital solutions with complex enterprise and legacy systems.
- Familiarity with React Native and Angular development landscapes.
- Competence in building cloud-based solutions, ideally on Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of microservices and contemporary integration methodologies.
- Awareness of security, privacy, accessibility, performance, and system resilience principles.
- Solid grounding in software engineering principles and delivery workflows.
- Proven collaboration experience within Agile product and engineering teams.
