Role Overview

Due to team expansion in the Brisbane region, multiple Desktop Support Engineer positions are available. In this role, you will provide comprehensive End User Services to Datacom customers. Aligned with business needs, your duties will cover routine maintenance, hardware and software break/fix, remote assistance, software deployment, and relocation support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding technical assistance in a fast-paced setting prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Support new users in receiving and setting up IT hardware.
  • Prepare new devices like laptops and mobile phones, ensuring they are updated and ready for deployment.
  • Log all customer interactions within the designated IT service management tool.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding the progress of their service requests.
  • Utilize tools and procedures to meet service delivery standards per established SLAs.
  • Proactively oversee and upkeep client infrastructure as directed.
  • Drive continuous service and process enhancements.
  • Adhere to industry best practices and ITIL standards, including change and release management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven excellence in delivering end-user support and customer experiences.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks to meet all service level agreements successfully.
  • Thorough knowledge of laptops, desktop computers, printers, AV equipment, BYOD policies, and mobile device management.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly to various audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver professional customer service and operate independently with excellent time management.
