About the Role
Join Primark as a Designer focusing on Women’s Accessories and play a strategic role in implementing product strategies. You will identify key seasonal trends, collaborate with suppliers to deliver top-quality products, and partner with Buying and Merchandising teams to create engaging and innovative ranges for our target customers globally.
Responsibilities
- Research global trend directions in women’s accessories using forecasting tools, data, and customer insights to create commercial collections.
- Lead seasonal colour direction and champion innovation in materials, trims, hardware, and construction techniques to produce distinctive products.
- Manage the complete design and development lifecycle of bags, footwear, and accessory lines from concept to final approval.
- Develop commercially balanced ranges that align with the brand’s DNA, category strategy, and product architecture while maintaining customer focus.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a design team, setting high standards for quality, efficiency, and work culture.
- Collaborate across functions with Buying, Merchandising, Technical, Sourcing, suppliers, and Brand teams to ensure consistent and high-quality product delivery.
- Represent your categories in leadership meetings and working groups, presenting range sign-offs and fostering cross-functional alignment.

Candidate Profile
- Over 7 years of experience in accessories design, including leadership or team management roles.
- Deep expertise in accessories, footwear, or bags, particularly materials, construction, and full product development cycles.
- Proven success in delivering high-volume, commercially viable collections by interpreting seasonal trends into customer-focused products.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to influence and inspire design teams.
- Excellent supplier and stakeholder management, confident communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Organized, accountable, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.
