Role Overview
We are seeking a Design Architect to join our PODs Factory team. This position emphasizes designing, coordinating, and developing architectural solutions tailored for prefabricated or modular PODs, such as bathroom and kitchen units. You will ensure these designs are practical, cost-effective, and align with factory manufacturing and site installation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop architectural designs specifically for prefabricated/modular PODs.
- Create comprehensive design, shop, fabrication, and production drawings.
- Collaborate closely with MEP, structural, production, and manufacturing teams to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Validate that designs are practical, economical, and suitable for factory fabrication processes.
- Assess materials, finishes, construction details, and the methods used in manufacturing to optimize outcomes.
- Support and enhance design strategies according to Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles.
- Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, UAE building regulations, and relevant industry standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in architectural design.
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Hands-on experience in detailed design creation, construction detailing, and preparing technical documentation.
- Prior involvement in PODs, modular construction, prefabrication, or factory production projects is highly preferred.
- Applicants with comprehensive experience in villa/residential architecture, hospitality projects, and bathroom or kitchen fit-outs will also be considered.
Minimum education
Bachelor's Degree
