Deployment Strategist

Role Overview

As a Deployment Strategist at Wonderful, you will be instrumental in ensuring artificial intelligence implementations succeed within enterprise environments. Wonderful serves as an AI operating system for businesses, aiming to bridge the divide between AI capabilities and current operational workflows. You will guide enterprise clients from initial discovery phases through pilots to full-scale deployments by clarifying AI project scopes, generating actionable plans, and defining measurable success metrics. This role acts as a liaison connecting customers, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Product teams to align development goals with real-world impact in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage closely with clients to thoroughly understand their business processes, systems, and core challenges to ensure impactful AI solutions.
• Lead initial discovery sessions with enterprise clients to capture workflows, limitations, and define success parameters.
• Develop detailed deployment scopes, success criteria, and integration strategies for AI pilots and wider rollouts.
• Effectively translate client requirements into actionable deployment plans for the engineering teams.
• Manage coordination across Product, Engineering, and client groups to ensure smooth implementation.
• Monitor project progression, proactively address risks, and eliminate obstacles throughout the deployment lifecycle.
• Provide support during production launches to guarantee proper adoption and operational effectiveness of solutions.
• Continuously assess deployed AI agents’ performance and promote iterative improvements driven by actual usage.
• Identify opportunities for expanding AI applications and additional use cases within client organizations.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in roles focused on deployment, technical operations, or execution-driven projects.
• Proven skill in untangling ambiguous problems and translating them into structured, executable plans.
• Comfortable with technical discussions involving APIs, Message Control Protocols, data flow, and system integrations.
• Strong communication abilities complemented by effective stakeholder management.
• A mindset characterized by high ownership and a strong preference for action.
• An enthusiasm for building and deploying AI-driven systems within real operational environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in solutions engineering, technical consulting, or forward-deployed technical roles.
• Previous hands-on engineering experience.
