Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect cash and valuables according to scheduled trips, adhering to strict time windows and trip sheets.
• Maintain safe, courteous driving practices and professional appearance at all times, including wearing uniform and safety gear.
• Engage politely with customers and the public, always upholding company standards.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections, report security or mechanical issues, and correctly follow emergency and security procedures.
• Verify consignments for accuracy and efficiently load/unload goods at branches and secure areas.
• Participate actively in training programs to enhance skills and career development.
• Undertake additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervision, adapting to evolving departmental needs.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possession of a valid UK driving licence is essential.
• Effective communication skills in spoken and written English and adequate numeracy skills are required.
• Ability to adhere to detailed procedures and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Previous driving experience and familiarity with IT systems is desirable but not mandatory.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, secure, and flexible customer service.
• Physical fitness needed to handle lifting and transporting heavy items.
• Successful candidates will undergo a medical assessment, including occupational health review.
• Security vetting includes criminal record check, personal credit and ID verification plus a 10-year employment/education history check.
• Preparedness to comply with airport-style security checks and work in secure warehouse settings.
• Possession of an SIA licence is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting base pay is £14.87 per hour, increasing to £15.17 after 6 months and £15.47 after 12 months, with additional night allowances when applicable. Overtime opportunities exist but are not guaranteed, subject to company conditions and hours worked.
