Security Officer

About the Role

We are looking for a diligent and professional Security Officer based at Raffles Place to uphold the safety and security of our establishment. This role requires a vigilant approach to ensure a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors alike.

Working Hours

This position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no duties required on public holidays or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage access control to maintain authorized entry.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies.
• Investigate suspicious behaviors and incidents on-site.
• Detain individuals violating policies and document the occurrences properly.
• Prepare clear, detailed incident reports for management and law enforcement authorities.
• Offer excellent customer service, including guiding visitors and assisting with the bank’s queue management system.
• Serve as a professional and courteous first point of contact for all guests.

Qualifications

• A minimum education level of 3 GCE 'N' or 'O' Levels, or NITEC certification.
• Prior experience working within a banking branch environment is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enhancing interaction with staff and customers.
• Capability to maintain composure and professionalism during stressful situations.
