Role Overview

The Delivery Driver role involves ensuring timely and secure transportation of automotive parts to customers and branch locations. The successful candidate will represent BNT with a personable demeanor and excellent communication abilities to foster trust and maintain long-lasting client relationships. Key Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely to deliver parts and supplies to customers and internal branches.
• Handle loading and unloading of stock, ensuring goods arrive in perfect condition accompanied by accurate delivery documentation.
• Adhere to scheduled routes and timelines, maximizing delivery efficiency.
• Provide polite and professional customer service, acting as a positive company ambassador.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of customer credit transactions, including product returns and conditions, to comply with credit policies.
• Develop and sustain strong rapport with customer contacts during site visits and deliveries.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through dependable service and a helpful approach.
• Communicate relevant market insights, client feedback, and competitor information promptly to the Branch Manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in customer service or exposure to customer-facing roles, preferably connected to product sales.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic typing proficiency and general computer literacy.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Willingness to work on alternating Saturday mornings as required.
• Possession of a full, clean Class 1 New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Physical ability to occasionally lift items up to 20 kg.
