Day Shift Security Officer

Role Overview

Located in Dublin 9, this full-time position involves working flexible shifts, including Monday to Sunday with a minimum commitment of 36 hours weekly. The hourly wage starts at €16.15, with additional allowances for night shifts (€20.00) and Sundays. Working onsite, employees have access to free parking and subsidized canteen facilities, with the site easily reachable by public transportation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Protect company property, personnel, and assets by adhering strictly to site-specific security instructions.
• Complete all required training successfully and carry out assigned duties diligently as per the Assignment Instructions.
• Continuously review and suggest improvements to site security protocols.
• Identify and report any health and safety hazards promptly.
• Remain vigilant to environmental changes and potential threats to minimize disruption, loss, or damage.
• Employ judgment and seek assistance immediately if situations escalate.
• Document incidents thoroughly and promptly for official reporting.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear provided uniforms properly with excellent grooming standards.
• Exhibit courteous and supportive behavior towards colleagues, client staff, and the general public.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written, with keen attention to detail.
• Competency in basic computer skills.
• Previous security or customer service experience is advantageous; training is provided.
• Flexibility concerning work hours is essential.
• Valid PSA Licence (Ref No: 00352) is mandatory.
