About the Role

The role is located in Grangecastle, Dublin 22, offering flexibility across all days of the week with a minimum weekly commitment of 36 hours. The position is ideal for newcomers to the industry and offers a competitive composite hourly rate based on an annual salary that includes various allowances.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate within a rotating shift schedule to provide round-the-clock security operations center support.
• Oversee physical security measures at assigned sites, including remote locations.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems to safeguard data halls and entry points.
• Dispatch appropriate security personnel when incidents arise, maintaining clear and effective communication.
• Maintain precise logs, records, and documentation, adhering to standardized procedures for audits.
• Identify, escalate, and report security concerns as per organizational policies.
• Conduct detailed briefings with incoming PSOC monitors regarding ongoing and recent incidents.
• Compile comprehensive written and digital reports and records using designated computer systems.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable communication method such as a mobile phone.
• Dependable transportation, either public or private.
• Legal authorization to work in Ireland.
• Proficiency in English: speaking, reading, and writing.
• Possession of a high school diploma, equivalent secondary education, or GED.
• Eligibility to acquire a valid Private Security Authority (PSA) License.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screening including drug testing and background checks.

Compensation

The composite hourly rate offered is €29.12, inclusive of a basic hourly rate of €26.25 plus all applicable night, Sunday, and public holiday allowances, derived from a flexible contract based on a 42-hour workweek over 52 weeks annually.
