Information Security Architect

Job Overview

The Information Security Architect plays a critical role in ensuring that the bank implements appropriate controls and tools to safeguard its information assets, evaluates security solutions, identifies opportunities for improvement, and manages information security risks effectively.

Work Location

• Head Office, Phnom Penh, Cambodia (3 openings)

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan robust security architectures covering infrastructure, development, and processes tailored to the bank's needs, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to suggest enhancements.
• Engage in security testing activities, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, to analyze vulnerabilities and assess risks.
• Define security requirements for networks, systems, and associated processes while creating and maintaining documentation accordingly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security architecture and manage security risks, including evaluating security risks for IT projects and significant changes to ensure alignment with security requirements and best practices.
• Compile, analyze, and summarize data and trends into assigned security reports.
• Execute any additional assignments delegated by the Line Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least three years of professional experience working in information security or roles such as system/network administration or software development.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, encryption, access controls, Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC), and other security domains.
• Demonstrated extensive expertise in information security focusing on security effectiveness, system performance, and reliability.
• Comprehensive knowledge of current IT risks with hands-on experience implementing security solutions.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities to distill results for reporting purposes and formulating improvement plans.
• Proficient in English, capable of delivering presentations to Senior Management.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• High integrity, strong commitment, and professional responsibility.
