Security Officer

Location and Schedule

The position is based in Ovens, County Cork, Ireland, offering a fully flexible schedule from Monday to Sunday with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Compensation: €16.15 per hour with additional €20.00 night allowance and Sunday premium.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete all necessary training tailored to the assigned site thoroughly and promptly.
• Perform all duties as specified in the site's Assignment Instructions efficiently and completely.
• Regularly review and suggest improvements to Assignment Instructions to enhance service quality.
• Monitor CCTV systems when required.
• Report any actual or potential health and safety risks on client premises immediately.
• Maintain vigilance on threats or environmental changes to prevent disruption, damage, or loss.
• Act wisely and involve others promptly if situations become threatening.
• Document incidents accurately and swiftly for reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Fluent in English (essential).
• At least six months experience in a similar security role.
• Strong written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficient with computer use.
• First Aid training completed.
• Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette skills.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Possession of a valid PSA Licence.
• Safe Pass certification is desirable.
• Own transport is a plus.
• Full clean driving license required.
