Day Porter

Position Overview

We seek a dependable and skilled Day Porter dedicated to carrying out diverse cleaning tasks that maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment at designated facilities. This position is vital to upholding the overall cleanliness and sanitation of the workplace, thereby fostering a positive atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors alike.

Work Schedule and Compensation

The role operates Monday through Friday, from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, offering a wage of $16 per hour with weekly payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and various surfaces.
• Sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, and ensure hygiene standards adhere to company guidelines.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, disposing of waste in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to maintain clarity and cleanliness.
• Properly maintain and store all cleaning tools and supplies.
• Report any facility maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or shortages of supplies to supervisors promptly.
• Support setup and cleanup tasks for meetings, events, or special projects as required.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies concerning cleaning and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or related cleaning roles is advantageous.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize time efficiently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment handling, and safety regulations.
• Strong focus on detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work.
