About the Role
We are collaborating with a prominent enterprise based in Dubai to enhance their data and artificial intelligence competencies. The opportunity is for a proactive Data Scientist seasoned in Semantic Modeling and AI Enablement. This role transcends routine reporting, focusing on architecting resilient semantic frameworks, establishing business data products, and organizing intricate enterprise data tailored for autonomous AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Generative AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-wide semantic data layers and data products geared towards AI and analytic needs.
- Develop and standardize core business KPIs, metrics, data dimensions, hierarchical structures, and comprehensive glossaries.
- Create high-performance SQL-based semantic views and reusable data assets utilizing Databricks and PySpark technologies.
- Support AI-driven projects by facilitating structured, context-aware data ingestion for Generative AI and agentic AI systems.
- Integrate semantic models effectively with existing enterprise data platforms and Oracle database systems.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering teams and business stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable and robust data models.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience exceeding eight years in semantic, dimensional, and relational data modeling approaches.
- Hands-on expertise with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and enterprise-level data platforms.
- Experience building data layers tailored specifically for AI-driven agents, RAG frameworks, and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Familiarity with Data Mesh architecture and Data Product operating paradigms.
- Preference for candidates with backgrounds in Banking and Financial Services (BFSI).
