Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with 6 to 10 years of professional expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, data analytics, and AI-powered solutions. The position will be based in locations such as Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, Kolkata, or NCR/Delhi. The candidate will take a lead role in analyzing complex datasets, building predictive models, and generating actionable insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement machine learning and predictive analytics models to address business challenges.
- Handle data gathering, cleaning, transformation, and advanced feature engineering for model development.
- Interpret both structured and unstructured datasets to extract meaningful business insights.
- Construct statistical and forecasting models to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Design comprehensive end-to-end data science pipelines and solutions.
- Engage and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, data engineers, and product management teams.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualization tools to communicate analytical findings clearly.
- Oversee model performance post-deployment and enhance model accuracy continually.
- Keep current with emerging AI, machine learning, and data science technologies and methodologies.
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming for data manipulation and machine learning tasks.
- Demonstrated experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Statistical Modeling techniques.
- Hands-on expertise with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and visualization libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn.
- Strong capabilities in data mining, predictive analytics, and optimizing models.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience working with substantial data volumes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to present data insights.
- Experience in MLOps practices including deploying and monitoring machine learning models.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and foundational statistics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Computer Vision.
- Knowledge of big data frameworks like Spark and Hadoop.
- Competency in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, including cloud-native deployment strategies.
- Exposure to advanced tools like feature stores, model registries, and comprehensive MLOps frameworks.
- Additional value for candidates holding cloud certifications in GCP, AWS, or Azure.
