Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and technically inquisitive Data Onboarding Specialist to join our team in Auckland. Ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with educational backgrounds in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related fields, this role blends technical troubleshooting with customer engagement to facilitate successful platform onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee data onboarding and migration processes for customers adopting our software solutions.
• Directly collaborate with clients to gather data, obtain system access, and ensure smooth onboarding experiences.
• Manage concurrent projects by balancing priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Track progress and ensure data-related tasks are accurately completed on time.
• Document processes and maintain updated project records within internal systems.
• Work closely with implementation consultants, project teams, and technical experts.
• Analyze, validate, and resolve customer data concerns as they arise.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of database architectures and data flow between systems.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a closely related discipline.
• Possesses 1-2 years of experience in technical, data-focused, customer support, implementation, or software roles, or is a graduate eager to advance a technology career.
• Demonstrates strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
• Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Adopts a proactive, customer-centered approach.
• Maintains high attention to detail ensuring accuracy in outputs.
• Shows aptitude for learning new technical systems and concepts.
• Employs analytical thinking and works comfortably with data.

Additional Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with databases, data manipulation, or scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or PHP.
• Experience using project management tools like Jira.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of NZD 60,000 to 65,000 plus eligibility for an annual bonus.
