IDEXX Veterinary Software develops cloud-based platforms tailored for the veterinary industry, supporting the health and welfare of pets, people, and livestock worldwide. Located in Auckland, we create a vertically integrated SaaS ecosystem encompassing practice management, diagnostics, payments, analytics, and customer engagement tools. Our flagship Practice Information Management System (PIMS), ezyVet, assists veterinary practices of various sizes in saving time, streamlining workflows, enhancing client communication, and improving patient care globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product areas focused on ezyVet's platform performance, reliability, and stability.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical experts to identify and prioritize enhancements that mitigate system issues and improve customer experience, especially for large enterprise clients.
• Engage directly with major enterprise customers to gather insights and prioritize product developments.
• Analyze data, reports, dashboards, and perform deep system investigations to identify root causes of performance problems.
• Lead initiatives to improve API and integration capabilities, manage integration requests, and support platform modernization efforts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive rollout of lightweight APIs, upgrade technical frameworks, and ensure timely delivery of new features and capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Proven experience managing product delivery in SaaS, platform, infrastructure, or other technical product settings.
• Strong aptitude for understanding customer needs and converting feedback into actionable product outcomes.
• Experience collaborating effectively with engineering teams to launch complex technical projects.
• Proficiency in leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data to guide decision-making and prioritization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage shifting product roadmaps and balance competing priorities.
• A customer-centric approach combined with comprehension of technical complexities.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of APIs, integrations, or developer-tailored products.
• Background in platform scalability, system performance, reliability, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience engaging with enterprise or strategic clientele.
• Technical acumen enabling effective dialogue with engineering teams.
