Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance and Data Management Specialist to join our client based in Dubai. This permanent onsite role involves working on major AI, data, and cloud transformation initiatives across various industries in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize 10 years of industry experience, especially within the Banking and BFSI sector.
- Configure and manage Informatica Axon Data Governance tools to support data governance frameworks.
- Design and establish business glossaries and define critical data elements to ensure data clarity.
- Deploy and oversee Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) scans to maintain comprehensive data inventories.
- Synchronize metadata between Axon and EDC platforms to guarantee consistency between business glossaries and technical metadata.
- Develop onboarding playbooks, standards, and templates to streamline data asset registration and stewardship processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on expertise with Informatica Axon Data Governance and Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog.
- Proven track record in implementing data governance strategies and frameworks effectively.
- Experience in metadata management, data cataloging, classification, and ensuring data quality using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and BI platforms.
- Fundamental understanding of relational database concepts and proficiency in SQL.
