Role Overview

We invite you to register your interest for forthcoming openings as an Assembly Operative – Repair Service within our data centre operations in Dublin. The role involves preparation, handling, tracking, assembly, replacement, and movement of hardware components vital for repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organise hardware components, spare parts, and equipment necessary for repair tasks.
• Identify, scan, label, and update component and equipment status in tracking systems.
• Execute assembly and replacement activities in line with approved procedures and instructions.
• Support repair processes for servers, storage, network devices, power and cooling infrastructure.
• Conduct visual inspections and basic checks as stipulated.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date records in operational tracking and client systems.
• Manage controlled flow of components and equipment within the Repair Service environment.
• Keep workspace organised and compliant with 5S methodology and site standards.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and as per guidelines.
• Report damaged equipment, missing parts, deviations, or irregularities to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, client contacts, and other stakeholders.
• Adhere strictly to safety, quality, confidentiality, site access, and security protocols.

Essential Requirements

• Basic proficiency in English language.
• Ability to carefully follow detailed operational procedures and instructions.
• Fundamental computer skills, including use of web browsers, email, chat tools, and office software.
• Keen attention to accuracy and detail in performing tasks.
• Team-oriented mindset with effective interpersonal communication.
• Dependable, punctual, and commitment to safety practices.
• Willingness and ability to learn standardized operational workflows.
• Clear communication skills with colleagues, supervisors, and on-site personnel.

Physical and Environmental Requirements

• Capability to safely handle, move, and position hardware and equipment.
• Ability to remain on feet for extended durations during work shifts.
• Occasional lifting or maneuvering of heavy equipment using approved techniques and material handling tools.
• Comfort working under varying noise levels, temperatures, and proximity to large-scale technical equipment.
• Manual dexterity and focused attention during detailed tasks.

Tools and Equipment Used

• Use of laptops and handheld barcode scanners for tracking.
• Interaction with operational inventory and tracking systems.
• Operation of label printers and a variety of hand and power tools.
• Utilisation of material handling machinery and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Engagement with hardware installation, replacement, and maintenance instruments.
