Role Overview

We are seeking an AV Field Technician to join our EMEA deployment team. In this position, you will handle the installation, configuration, and removal of audio-visual systems at client locations across the region, primarily in commercial and corporate settings. The role demands travel frequently throughout Europe and requires delivering high-standard technology setups, troubleshooting, and outstanding service in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and uninstall AV systems at various commercial client sites.
• Configure AV endpoints and associated infrastructure effectively.
• Conduct detailed audits of meeting rooms to ensure optimal technology performance across diverse room sizes.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep AV equipment and rooms fully operational.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions and systemic failures efficiently.
• Complete thorough post-installation evaluations and documentation.
• Execute on-site user acceptance testing and software updates as required.
• Serve as a technical escalation resource, solving ongoing AV issues.
• Coordinate with EOS teams to meet service level agreements and client expectations.
• Provide project status updates and comprehensive reports to management teams.
• Document hardware malfunctions and oversee break/fix and RMA processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with AV and video conferencing system installation.
• Hands-on proficiency using tools and working with cabling infrastructure.
• Availability and willingness to undertake frequent European travel.
• Professionalism paired with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to perform confidently and independently under pressure.
• Strong desire for continual technical advancement and learning.
• Reliability and accountability, capable of working solo or within teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Adept at critical thinking and problem resolution.
• Flexibility to adjust to shifting schedules and customer requirements.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with Control Systems such as Crestron, AMX, and Extron.
• Familiarity with Audio Systems including Biamp, QSC, and Polycom.
• Knowledge of Video Systems like Cisco and Polycom.
