Cybersecurity Solution Architect

Role Overview

The Cybersecurity Solution Architect will collaborate closely with Sales and Competency Heads to develop strategic approaches for key accounts. This position entails a comprehensive understanding of clients' environments and challenges, and entails identifying areas for technological improvements. The architect will coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to formulate solutions tailored to customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales and leadership teams to develop key account strategies
• Analyze customer environments and identify pain points
• Identify and recommend technology enhancements to improve customer infrastructure
• Plan and establish technology roadmaps for major accounts
• Oversee all technical aspects of customer bids, including bill of materials, scope of work, and proposals
• Lead complex project directions and conduct reviews during requirement gathering phases
• Lead solution design discussions to derive optimal solutions
• Manage technical aspects of projects including design and risk mitigation
• Provide best practice guidance during implementation phases
• Oversee system integration efforts ensuring solution delivery outcomes
• Make technical decisions especially under project risk scenarios related to functionality and timeline
• Approve technical documentation throughout project lifecycle
• Support Project Managers with stakeholder management
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on cybersecurity best practices and relevant technological trends

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline preferred
• Mandatory possession of recognized certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or CRTSA, or their equivalents
• Minimum of eight years' experience in IT, with at least three years in solution architecture roles
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, infrastructure, and cloud technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, acting as the final escalation point for issues
• Comprehensive knowledge across diverse technology domains
• Strong verbal and written communication proficiency
• Effective project management capabilities
• A positive and proactive work attitude
• Demonstrated passion for information security
• Familiarity with sales sectors including Critical National Information Infrastructure (CII), Financial Services Industry (FSI), and Commercial sectors
• Ability to evaluate customer environments and operations thoroughly during solution development
