Cyber AI Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cyber AI Project Manager to lead and coordinate cybersecurity projects that integrate artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. This role involves close collaboration with customers and multiple cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and practical solutions addressing cybersecurity challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers and various stakeholders to comprehend their business operations and cybersecurity requirements, ensuring engagement yields mutually beneficial results.
• Collaborate with internal teams including software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, threat researchers, and cybersecurity experts to define project requirements, priorities, and limitations, translating these into comprehensive technical scopes and project plans.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and deployment of cybersecurity initiatives that incorporate AI/ML, data analytics, and software engineering technologies.
• Manage project lifecycles covering requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing service enhancement.
• Create and maintain essential project documentation, such as proposals, technical specs, business cases, test plans, progress updates, and other relevant materials.
• Control project baselines including scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and quality to ensure objectives are met.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints by working with stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders detailing project progress, milestones reached, challenges faced, and risk management activities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships and manage expectations with customers, management, technical teams, and external vendors across all organizational levels.
• Enable collaboration among cybersecurity, AI/ML, data science, and software engineering teams to develop actionable and deployable solutions for complex cyber problems.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess 3 to 5 years of project management experience handling software engineering, data, AI/ML, or cybersecurity projects throughout full project lifecycles including planning, design, development, testing, and implementation phases.
• Have a solid technical foundation and working knowledge of AI/ML, data analytics and engineering, cybersecurity principles, software development, as well as modern data processing and application platforms.
• Demonstrate experience liaising effectively with both internal development teams and external stakeholders such as customers and vendors.
• Exhibit strong communication skills—both written and verbal—and interpersonal abilities.
• Possess proficiency in presentation, coordination, and facilitation techniques.
• Show capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Background in cybersecurity, AI/ML, data analytics, systems integration, or software development industries.
• Track record of successfully delivering large-scale enterprise projects and converting complex cybersecurity requirements into actionable AI and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with project management frameworks and tools such as Waterfall, Scrum (Agile), Jira, GitLab, among others.
• Experience in product management, service delivery, and deploying AI-powered cybersecurity solutions.
• Proven skill in managing multiple concurrent projects involving diverse technical teams.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PMP or Agile Certified Practitioner.
• Cybersecurity certifications including CISSP, CEH, or CISA are a plus.
• Hands-on expertise in data analytics, AI/ML development, software engineering, and modern web application creation.
