About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and results-oriented sales expert with a strong enthusiasm for securing new business and accelerating growth within the cybersecurity domain. This position offers the chance to join a supportive team environment that values diversity and inclusivity, aiming to expand cybersecurity adoption throughout the channel partner network in Australia and New Zealand.
As the Cyber Security Sales Specialist, your primary focus will be on uncovering, cultivating, and closing cybersecurity sales opportunities via channel partners. Collaborating closely with security vendors, partners, internal sales teams, and customers, you will nurture strategic partnerships, build a solid sales pipeline, and effectively position cybersecurity solutions to help organizations confront evolving security challenges.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and pursuing fresh cybersecurity business prospects through channel partners and spearheading strategic partner acquisition efforts.
- Establishing and strengthening partner relationships while devising joint business plans aligned with long-term growth and cooperation.
- Collaborating with cybersecurity vendors and partners to implement go-to-market plans and generate demand.
- Leading collaborative customer engagements and promoting cybersecurity solutions to both business and technology decision-makers.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the cybersecurity market, competitor dynamics, and emerging trends to uncover new avenues for growth.
- Managing the sales pipeline, forecasting outcomes, and maintaining active partner engagement to achieve revenue and business targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in technology sales, business development, channel sales, or partner-focused client engagement roles.
- A sincere interest in cybersecurity solutions with a drive to assist organizations in overcoming security challenges.
- Strong skills in building relationships and managing stakeholders, capable of engaging senior business and technology leaders.
- A commercial mindset adept at spotting opportunities, generating pipeline, and driving successful sales results.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Self-driven, proactive attitude and comfort working in a growth-oriented environment.
